The translation agency A. PROSPECT s.r.o. has been here to serve you since 1998 and has its main office in Prague 2, Czech Republic.
We provide translation, interpreting and other accompanying services to companies, government authorities and the public.
Our goal
Our agency's goal is not only to be the cheapest, but also the best, or at least one of the best translation agencies on the market. We want to have satisfied and loyal customers who appreciate our services and will keep coming back to us for all of their needs. We achieve this with the help of our team of qualified and experienced translators from many fields of expertise. We are not trying to have the largest possible database of translators, but we cooperate with a smaller group of professionals who have university education and qualifications in the subjects in which they translate, because a quality translation is not only correctly chosen words and exact interpretation of contents, but also involves catching meanings that are often hidden between the lines, maintaining the same style and the best terminology and understanding that the people for whom the translation is intended often do not know the foreign language that the original document is written in and therefore have to rely entirely on the translator's work.
Our team

Mgr. Věra Topilová – the company's founder and executive; she is mainly responsible for the agency's everyday operations and for coordination of more extensive projects.
She has university education with a degree in languages and worked previously as a translator of expert books and literature (Publishers Academia, Grada, Tobiáš) and is also the author or co-author of several dictionaries.
As a court certified interpreter of the English language, she oversees all of the agency's translation orders requiring court certification, and if time permits it she also translates or verifies official documents to and from the English language.
Jesse Roy Lynch – an American native English speaker who works for our agency as an internal translator and corrector for the English language; he is the company's main translator from Czech and Slovak to English and is also responsible for ensuring the quality of all translations into English, harmonising terminology, proof-reading English-language texts, etc.
Bc. Renáta Topilová – the youngest member of our team; she works as an assistant translator and handles smaller orders with 1-10 standard pages, general translations, transcriptions of more graphically demanding texts, adjusting of tables, etc. She speaks English fluently and German well. She is a student at the Metropolitan University in Prague.
Jana Graasová – our office's administrative assistant, without whose help our agency's day-to-day operations would be impossible; she is always there to greet you when you come to our office, and she answers the phone when you call us, accepts and processes your orders, arranges and finds what you need, etc.
Bc. Kateřina Topilová, who will soon finish her studies in information technology at Charles University, is the person we turn to whenever our hardware or software is not working properly, which happens rather frequently. She takes care of our computers, network, systems and data and also often takes care of the computers and systems used by our most important translators.
